SASLED project – Sports event in Brussels
🌟 A huge thank you to the European School Brussels IV for an amazing day of sports training with both students and teachers, as part of the Sasled project! 🌍
We kicked off with EDA President Rosie Bissett introducing the SASLED project. This was followed by inspiring talks from Dr Adele Muscat on the benefits and importance of sport and physical activity, and an interactive discussion led by Dr Lara Tonna Grima on what physical health means to each of us. 🏃‍♂️⚽
Dr Amanda Farrugia then took us through a series of inclusive sports activities, designed to cater to all abilities! 💪 The day ended with a calming mindfulness session, giving us all time to reflect on the importance of inclusion in sports. 🧘‍♀️✨
A special shoutout to Dr Muscat, Dr Tonna Grima, and Dr Farrugia from Malta for sharing their expertise! Thank you to all the participants and staff for your energy and engagement. 🙌💙
